Colour through concrete can be a great alternative to paving. A large selection of pigment colours are available to add to the concrete mix prior to placement. Combined with a range of concrete finishing techniques, such as honing, polishing, exposed aggregate, the possibilities are endless.
Good quality paving should always be laid on a concrete base. The cost of this, combined with the cost of the paver and the labour cost for laying, brings the price per m2 usually in the range of $250-$300. Colour through concrete can be an economic alternative ranging from $120 to $200 per m2. However, cost is not the only advantage. Often existing materials are difficult to match, there might be existing pool coping or paved surfaces, the simplicity of concrete blends in easily. Large expanses of hard surfaces can be visually boken up with different textures and colours. A change in colour can give directional guidance towards an entry for example.
Colour through concrete is easy to maintain and durable….a great alternative for your landscape.
