Jetty House Accommodation

Box balls add a fantastic sculptural element to a garden, patio, front door…anywhere where something special is needed. Unlike English Box, Buxus japonica thrives in our sub-tropical coastal climate. Drought tolerant it requires little water once established and thrives in a wide range of soils and conditions but needs a sunny, open position.

Planted in groups of interconnecting shapes or marking a change of direction in a path in the garden, flanking a front door on either side or displayed as a row of pots, Box balls add indispensable design elements to your place.

Lighting adds yet another dimension, be it as a silhouette against a wall or as glowing balls surrounded by darkness.

With its gorgeous bright green glossy leaves, the Japanese Box is one of our favourites.
