The start of the design process will be based on a thorough survey and analysis of the site. We will prepare concept drawings to scale showing the proposed layout, plant palette and materials, which form the basis of further discussion with you and any other consultants involved in the project.
The approved concept will then be developed further into the Master Plan. It includes the designed layout of the garden, details of materials and finishes for the hard and soft landscaping elements, planting plan and schedule, a drainage and lighting plan, details and specifications. For complex structural work, further detailing by us and/or an engineer might be required before accurate quotations can be arranged and construction of your unique and beautiful garden can commence.
Design Fees and Construction Budget
Depending on scope and extent of the proposed works, our design fees start from $4,500.
Construction budgets vary considerably. We suggest $55,000 would be a starting point.
