Jetty House Accommodation

Just about every client asks me to design a low maintenance garden. Whilst I try to comply with this request, there is no such thing as a no maintenance garden. A garden is a living entity that develops and changes over time. For a garden to reach it’s potential and to see these design intentions to become reality, good maintenance is unavoidable.

Autumn and winter is a great time to prune, get on top of the weeds which have exploded during summer and to re-juvenate areas in the garden that have gone past their best.

A maintenance program for easy reference for yourself or your maintenance contractor is a great way to ensure your garden always looks it’s best and gives you the best value at all times.      GARDEN EXPRESSIONS can provide you with a program specifically detailed for your garden, listing pruning requirements for each plant species, an application schedule for compost and mulch and routine maintenance tasks such as mowing, raking/cleaning paths, removing unsightly leaves, etc.

The plant selections of my gardens always include improved varieties which have been tested and proven to be successful. They have low maintenance requirements but appearance and longevity is often improved by maintaining them correctly. I can also recommend suitable tools to carry out these tasks.

GARDEN EXPRESSIONS can help you to get your garden back into shape. A consultation to assess the current condition and a list of tasks to be carried out get’s the ball rolling. This can then be followed up with recommendations of suitable maintenance contractors. GARDEN EXPRESSIONS can organise quotations and oversee the work as well as supplying any replacement plants required.

All great gardens have great maintenance! maintenance rs
