WE WON A SILVER AT THE NATIONAL AILDM AWARDS 2013
With one of my larger project now complete and developing beautifully, the opportunity to enter it into the prestigious 2013 National AILDM Awards was an exciting prospect.
Garden Expressions won a Silver for Residential Design $150,000 +
To be recognised alongside some of the best in Australia is fantastic.
AILDM is Australia’s leading association of qualified landscape design and management professionals, from all states and major cities, as well as many regional centres. AILDM has been going strong since 1994.
Putting together the entry allowed me to revisit the project through all of its stages, and what a grand project to have been part of. My involvement in this project covered all stages from conceptual design, detailed drawings, and selection of contractors to project management. The latter included contract administration and the supervision of earthworks, stone mason, concreter and landscape contractor.

Coffs Harbour is a wonderful community with many giving and generous businesses, so when the opportunity arose to be part of the Rescue House, I jumped at it, donating my time and expertise.
‘Rescue House’, is an initiative of Destiny Rescue and our community; the project is to build a spec “Charity House” that will be sold after completion, with the profits going directly to organisations doing great things in this field. Destiny Rescue is dedicated to rescuing children from human trafficking and sexual exploitation. It is an Australian initiative that has a substantial global operation and one of their particular projects in Chiang Mai, Thailand will be the main beneficiary of this venture.
